All coaching MUST be conducted by an accredited Archery Australia Coach; either
The Coach must be a financial member of Archery Australia, to provide the required insurance cover; or
There must be an accredited & financial Archery Australia Coach present & supervising the coaching.
Professional (paid) coaching is allowed if ANY of the following conditions are met:
The coach (L2 or higher) is a CAC member; or
The Archer (trainee) is a CAC member; or
The CAC management committee or CAC head coach has given approval.
Unless otherwise stated, explicit permission prior to the session is NOT required.
A CAC L2 coach may give professional lessons at our club, using our facilities. The archer(s) would still be required to pay the appropriate ground fees.
e.g. CAC L2 coach’s training of a Mount Petrie Bowmen (MPB) archer, at the CAC grounds.
A CAC archer can receive professional training from a non-CAC coach on CAC grounds.
e.g. CAC archer being trained by a visiting qualified Coach.
A workshop to be held by a non-CAC coach, and advertised to or attended by non-CAC archers, then it would require prior approval from the committee.
e.g. A special SQAS-wide Training session.
A non-CAC coach must not provide professional training to a non-CAC archer on our grounds without appropriate approval or supervision.
