Private Come & Try classes

Background

Over the years, we have been approached many times about running special one-off classes for individuals and groups.
Our club has decided to formalise how we approach this. Our existing public Come & Try group classes are scheduled well in advance as they require us to co-ordinate and organise 4 to 5 qualified volunteer instructors to be available at a common time, plus several hours of behind-the-scenes volunteer work. Approximately 20 hours of volunteer work goes into each normal class. Our scheduled classes are your cheapest option, but they often fill up very fast and months in advance.

Coordinating all of that takes time. We can't just organise a class for you or your group at short notice.  The larger your group, the more notice it will likely require.

Pricing

If we can organise the field availability & the necessary instructors, these are our prices(*) for private Come & Try classes:

1 Person: $130
2-5 People: $110 each
6-10 People: $95 each
11-20 People: $85 each

How

In order to arrange a private class, please contact us via bookings@centenaryarchers.org.au and we will help walk you through the process and answer any questions you may have. Before you contact us, you will need to let us know:

Note: It may take us a while to get back to you with a confirmation as we will need to canvas our volunteer instructors for their availability to see if it is at all viable.

When

As we hold normal classes most Saturdays already, if there is already something on that Saturday, we are unlikely to hold a second class, especially large ones. Your best bets are Sundays when we are already open for "Archery practice". We do have some retiree instructors, so mid-week classes are a potential possibility. We find that morning classes are best.

The club is not a commercial enterprise. It is a labour of love. We are entirely volunteer based. We will only take bookings if it suits everyone involved. While we may offer these private class options, we are under no obligation to arrange them. The club has a No Refund policy, but we will transfer a booking to a different date or time if needed provided sufficent notice is given.
